BIOTIC CONDITIONS

Rodents abundance evaluation:

low

Breeding conditions:

Very poor, as very little vegetation and the large fjord seldom is ice-free, even during August. The Citronen Fjord is often ice-free late July and August - perhaps little in September. Delta silty/gravel and little vegetation.
 

Rodent dynamics:

May be a little more abundant mid May than late in July -August (pers.comm. from mining company).
